michelle has been collecting & selling vintage for over 5 years. she has always loved the charm of hand-made clothing, especially those built for everyday use & enjoyment. michelle handpicked the materials for each coat during her sourcing for the magnetism vintage collection, and designed the coats based on her favourite vintage pieces.

the deets
MATERIALS —
all of our coats are handmade using pre-loved materials such as quilts, wool blankets, sheets; even our buttons are living their second-life on our pieces. due to the secondhand nature of our materials, there may be small imperfections such as discolouration, pilling, etc. which do not affect the function or appearance of our pieces — but rather enhance their charm.
DONATIONS —
20% of all coats will be donated to the Abbey House — a transitional home for indigenous women in the niagara region, offering shelter and support for women who are experiencing crisis in their lives. the abbey house assists this community in achieving emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical well-being. learn more & donate here.
SIZING —
our first little collection of ready-to-wear coats will include sizes medium & large. our following collections will expand to extra small to extra large at the beginning, with plans to expand beyond those sizes as well. if you are outside of this size range, please reach out anytime and we would love to create the perfect piece for you!
